Mirror Leaders are the expert traders at the heart of Mirrorpip. When you follow a Mirror Leader, their live trades are automatically mirrored into your exchange account. Understanding a leader’s profile and performance metrics helps you choose the right trader to follow.

Who are Mirror Leaders?

Mirror Leaders are experienced crypto traders who have applied to share their strategies on the Mirrorpip platform. Each leader has an individual profile you can review before deciding to mirror them.

What a Mirror Leader profile shows

When you browse Mirror Leaders in the app, each profile displays key information to help you make an informed decision:
  • Performance history — Historical returns over various time periods (e.g., last 30 days, 3 months, all time)
  • Win rate — The percentage of trades that resulted in a profit
  • Max drawdown— An indicator of how aggressively the leader trades (e.g., MDD above 40% is risky)
  • Active followers — The number of users currently mirroring this leader
  • DSL — Days since listed to get more trust.
  • Current open positions — What the leader is holding right now
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Always review multiple performance metrics and consider a leader’s risk level before mirroring.

Evaluating a Mirror Leader

When choosing a leader to follow, consider:
Look for leaders with a steady track record across different market conditions — not just a single outstanding month. Filter profiles by longer time horizons to see how consistent their performance is.
Match the leader’s risk level to your own risk tolerance. A high-risk leader may produce large gains but can also experience sharp drawdowns.
Drawdown measures the largest peak-to-trough loss a leader has experienced. A lower maximum drawdown generally indicates more conservative risk management.
A leader with many active followers has been validated by the community. However, newer leaders with fewer followers may still perform well — use all available metrics together.

Following multiple leaders

You can follow more than one Mirror Leader at a time. Mirrorpip mirrors trades from all your active leaders simultaneously. If you follow multiple leaders, make sure your total allocation across leaders aligns with your overall risk tolerance.
