# Update Your Profile and Account Details in Mirrorpip

> Edit your display name, email, profile picture, and phone number in Mirrorpip settings. Learn how to change your password and delete your account.

Your Mirrorpip profile contains your personal details and display information. You can update your name, profile picture, and email address at any time from the app's Settings screen.

## Opening your profile settings

1. Open the Mirrorpip app.
2. Tap the **Profile** icon in the bottom navigation, or go to **Settings**.
3. Tap **Edit Profile** to open the profile editing screen.

## Updating your details

You can update the following fields:

| Field           | Description                                               |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Display name    | The name shown on your account and activity               |
| Profile picture | Upload a photo from your device's camera roll             |
| Email address   | Your login email — changing this requires re-verification |
| Phone number    | Optional, used for account recovery and support           |

Make your changes and tap **Save** to apply them.

  If you change your email address, Mirrorpip sends a verification link to the new address. Your email is not updated until you click the link.

## Changing your password

To change your account password:

1. Go to **Settings → Security**.
2. Tap **Change Password**.
3. Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
4. Tap **Update Password**.

## Deleting your account

you can delete your existing account by clicking on Delete my account button in Myprofile

you can always re-create a fresh account with same credentials used earlier.

  Deleting your account does not close any open positions on your exchange. Manage your positions before requesting deletion.
